Sora by Overdrive |
OpenDekalb County Schools provides free ebooks and audiobooks through Sora by OverDrive. Download the free Sora app for iPhone or Android, or sign in to Clever and click on the Sora icon. Students can select Dekalb County Public Schools, then log on using their s number and their current school password.
If there is a book you want to read as an ebook or audiobook in Sora, email Ms. Kochel (marcia_kochel@dekalbschoolsga.org) to request it. It can be available immediately!
Dekalb County Public Library has thousands of ebooks and audiobooks also available through Sora. You can now add the public library to your Sora account using your Clever login. See instructions here. You can also add the Dekalb County Public Library to the Sora app by entering your own library card number and PIN.

Read unlimited comics and graphic novels with Comics Plus. It's easy to access-- go to Clever, click on MackinVIA, and explore and read whatever you want.
Hoopla Digital
Includes popular books for kids, teens, and adults as well as movies you can checkout. Access Hoopla Digital using your DeKalb County Public Library card. If you don't have a card, you can click here to get a temporary card number that will let you use online resources for free. Once you have a library card, go to the Hoopla website, create an account for yourself (use your school email address or personal email address). Then enter your DeKalb County Public Library card number. Now you can check out up to 5 ebooks, audiobooks, or movies a month.

Our Destiny Discover library catalog contains some audiobooks and ebooks. Log on with your s number and password "mydestiny". Books are available in a web browser or by downloading the Destiny Discover app for mobile devices.

Thousands of fun ebooks for kids, including Wimpy Kid books and Geronimo Stilton. Access eRead Kids using your DeKalb County Public Library card. If you don't have a card, you can click here to get a temporary card number that will let you use online resources for free. Once you have a library card, go to the eRead Kids website, choose DeKalb County Public Library, then enter your DeKalb County Public Library card number. Or download the Axis360 app and read on your own device.
