Creative SpaceOur library Creative Space is available all day for students to design, dream, and create. We have 3D printers, building supplies, puzzles, art supplies, an Oculus Quest and cardboard VR goggles, Sphero robots, and much more.
Our Creative Space is part of a national movement of makerspaces in schools. Why do we have the Creative Space in our library?

Used Book ChallengeOur first monthly challenge in 2018 was to make some kind of decoration out a used book. We had some beautiful and amazing works of art. Thank you to our guest judges from Peachtree Publishing Company.
Black History Month QuotesIn February 2018 students took quotations from African Americans and made them into posters. Thank you to Ms. McClure for being our guest judge.

cardboard ChallengeOur March 2018 Challenge is to make a game out of cardboard that can be played at Arts and Science Night on March 21.
Used Book ChallengeOur September 2019 Challenge was to make something out of a used book to fit the theme Dragons Excited About Reading.
Georgia History Lego ChallengeThe January 2020 challenge was to use Legos to make something from Georgia history. The winning entry was the Siege of Savannah. Thank you to Ms. Neal and Mr. Bodnar for judging and to Ms. McClure for encouraging her students to enter.

Lego ChallengeOur January 2018 challenge was to make something related to the Social Studies curriculum out of Legos. We had a World War II airplane, a world map, the Berlin Wall, and an Ottoman castle. Thank you to Mr. Bodnar and Ms. McClure for being our guest judges.
