If you are having issues with logging on to Office365 or other applications on the LaunchPad, this tip frequently solves the problem. Before you bring your Chromebook to the library for tech support, try this. If you have items in your "downloads" folder that you don't want to lose, you must first transfer them to your Google Drive.

1. Sign Out of your Chromebook
2. At the sign-in screen, click to the right side of your name.
3. A drop-down arrow appears. Click that arrow and choose Delete User.
4. Enter your login information to sign in again.

When you are not using your Chromebook it's a good idea to lock it so no one else can do anything. When you lock your screen it leaves all your windows open so it's often preferable to logging out.

The easiest way to lock the screen is to press the lock key in the top right corner of your keyboard.
